Volunteer Opportunity: Grand Opening Block Party

Mill Village is hosting a Grand Opening Block Party, and we need volunteers to help make the day a success! This is a great chance to connect with the community, welcome families, and support a fun and meaningful event. We’re looking for about 15 volunteers to serve in different areas throughout the day, as well as extra help with setup and cleanup.
Volunteer Roles
1. Activity Hosts
Help run games, booths, or kids’ activities
Engage with families and participants
Ensure activities run smoothly and safely
2. Parking Attendants
Direct guests to appropriate parking areas
Help maintain traffic flow
Provide a friendly welcome as people arrive
3. Event Support
Float between stations as needed
Assist with crowd flow and answer questions
Provide general help wherever needed
4. Setup Team (Before Event)
Arrive early to help with tents, tables, chairs, and decorations
Organize supplies and prepare activity areas
5. Cleanup Team (After Event)
Break down tents, tables, and chairs
Collect trash and restore the space to order
Assist with loading supplies
