We always need meals for our students and mentors on the evenings of our Youth Programs. The Mill Village Youth Program provides holistic development classes designed for teens to flourish. Thank you for supporting us by feeding hungry teens!
Meals should be delivered ready to eat to the respective locations and at the times listed below; they should feed the quantity outlined and dietary restrictions listed with each date referenced below.
In an effort to respond to feedback from our students and ensure variety within the meals they receive, we have created a general menu for our meal requests. Since this class is focused on gardening and the food system, we prefer food from local businesses or that is homemade.
We'll also gladly accept cash donations or gift cards to be used toward the purchase of youth meals. Please contact frances@millcommunity.org for additional information on this or make a donation today online. We have found that $100 will cover the cost of a meal purchased from a local business and recommend this donation amount if possible.
Restaurant suggestions: Sacha’s bowls, Empanadas y Salsas + fruit, Jasmine Kitchen, Publix or Sully's Steamers sandwiches, Coastal Crust, Comal 864 tacos, local BBQ, Naked Pasta take & bakes (cooked before you deliver), Swamp Rabbit Cafe sandwiches. Homemade meal suggestions: spaghetti/noodle dish, BBQ, tacos. If you have a dish you’d like to make please reach out a week before with your idea so Frances can let you know if it is something that the students in our class will eat!
