Calling All Volunteer Videographers

Are you passionate about social justice and community engagement? Do you enjoy capturing and sharing inspiring stories with others?

Volunteer videographers are needed to capture stories and short 3 - 5 minute clips during Village Engage events. Volunteering with Village Engage is easy. Just attend and video short clips during the Village Engage’s events that fit your schedule on your own device.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend Village Engage events and capture video footage.

  • Edit and share short video clips.

  • Collaborate with the Village Engage team on video content.

Together, let's create a more just and compassionate Greenville through the power of storytelling!

In a time of increasing polarization and division, Village Engage's annual symposium brings together community members of all ages and backgrounds for building connections across differences. Our theme this year is finding common ground through the arts. High school students from Legacy Early College and Greenville Tech Charter will perform original music they composed with nationally acclaimed musician Kyshona Armstrong. All attendees will engage in a poetry writing workshop with poets Moody Black and Melissa Whiteford St. Clair

During lunch, participants will also connect with other attendees through a My Neighbor’s Voice listening activity. The event will be held at The Peace Center's Gunter Theatre, and attire is business casual.
